Here is the question:
Do you know what is the difference between 「真 銀 」and 「鍍 銀 」?
「 真 銀」– those who started from lower forms and finished as Form 5 graduates. They are true Jubileans.
「 鍍 銀 」– those who finished Form 5 from other schools, then joined Form 6 classes and graduated. They are silver-plated Jubileans.
These two funny terms referring to two categories of graduated students were introduced by Paul Li Kam-por (1971) during a speech he shared in the AGM. Regrettably, his wife Brenda Wong Wai-yin (1972) was not able to enjoy the applaud laughter from the audience due to sickness.
