Message from the Chair, May Ho (1967, F5A)

During 2006, we have concentrated our fund raising efforts towards the Needy Student Fund at BHJS. We have collected a total of $ 1945.05 from various functions this year towards this initiative.

On December 2, 2006, the Canada Alumni collected $1080 to sponsor Ms. Ng Tsui King to sing at the Coronation Ceremony in Hong Kong to raise funds for buying LCD equipment for each classroom. Each LCD equipment will cost HK$6,000. In 2007, we would like to devote our fund raising efforts from our alumni in Canada and U.S. to support this initiative and we hope you will give us your generous support.
Donations can be sent by cheque to Denise Lam, our alumni treasurer, at 11, Drawbridge Drive, Markham, Ontario, L6C 2B2 or included in the AGM registration form.
We still have some CDs of “Proud to be a Jubilean” for sale at minimum $10 each. All proceeds are sent back to BHJS. They will be available at the AGM.
