Recap of some of the activities this summer
Message from the Chair, May Ho (1967, F5A)
The BBQ at Sibbald Point drew a large crowd of 45 this year. We used our new banner for the first time and it was a beautiful and vibrant design. This banner was a gift to the Canada Alumni by our 1967 alumnae, Tang Hing Lin, F5C, from Hong Kong. His son, Nicam Tang 鄧翊匡designed and produce the banner for us. The photo album of this event is in our Photobucket site. I have posted a blog entry of this event on: bhjs1967.blogspot.com under 加拿大校友會西宝角夏日逍遙遊
1967 Alumni Fiona Wong Fung Ling, Paulette Yu Lai King, Pauline Wong Wai Lai, Raymond Yeung Kam Ho, Sum Sau Wan and Kwong Hoi Chau visited Toronto this summer. Fiona Wong Fung Ling, Pauline Wong Wai Lai and Joshua Wu drove from Calgary to visit Catherina Lam Chi Ying and Janette Tsang Kit Ying in Edmonton/ 1965 and 1966 Alumni Timothy Chan Ting Yue and Kalvin Tam Kwok Hing visited Toronto too. Mr. H.S. Wong came out for lunch with Principal Peter Kwok Chi Kay and the EXCO members. A very rare appearance was made by Mrs. PeggyWong and Mrs. Elaine Leung to join 11 other alumni at a gathering
for Fiona Wong Fung Ling in Toronto. It was at this gathering that we unveiled our new alumni banner.
On September 9, Miss Chu Ling (Catherine Wong) came to Toronto. The 1970 alumni, Alice Ho and
Christina Chan, 1971 alumni James Lam, Bella Siu, Teresa Hui, Sharon Wu and Wong Koon Ming,
together with Mrs. Irene Fong, Mr. Wong Hin Shing had dinner at Thornhill. They had a great time. Miss Chu lives in El Segundo, California.
I am sure there were many other alumni meets which we were not aware of this summer. You can view the stories and pictures about these gatherings in the blog: bhjs1967.blogspot.com under
